Strider of the Ninth Shell

is a sculptural artifact that melds speculative design with metallurgical precision — a biomechanical sentinel born from an imagined future and forged through advanced fabrication.

At its core stands a meticulously crafted lattice shell, oviform in shape and formed from 316 stainless steel, a material known for its resilience and industrial strength. This openwork structure, grown layer by layer through metal additive manufacturing, evokes a hybrid of alien exoskeleton and technological relic. Its repeating diamond-like units create a resonant, almost cellular texture — more grown than assembled.

Anchoring this enigmatic form are two anatomically inspired legs, digitally sculpted to recall both the gait of a bird and the engineered grace of robotic prosthetics. The skeletal limbs — printed in one continuous process — are structurally expressive, balancing elegance with engineered strength. The feet, talon-like and articulated, suggest both readiness and sentience.

The Strider is said to originate from the mythos of the EggMuseum, believed to be one of several autonomous constructs left behind after the Mothership's departure. Whether designed for surveillance, ritual, or resonance calibration is unknown — but its presence commands curiosity and reverence.
